Hello, my name is Aurora

I am a freelance 2D film director, 2D animator and illustrator based in Paris. I create sensitive, narrative-driven films to bring the worlds I work on to life. I work mainly using traditional techniques (2D illustration and animation on paper: felt-tip pen, gouache, pencil, etc.), often combined with digital methods to streamline production times!

I’m a very calm and attentive person. When I’m not drawing for work, I try my hand at composing music and go out to paint in the local area to recharge my batteries and renew my creativity!​

 

I set up my company, Kyou.b, to produce independent films and illustrations

as well as to work closely with creators and brands, whilst providing an outside perspective and helping to structure projects. My role is to help you clarify your vision where necessary, in order to build a coherent and solid project.

I work on both personal projects and productions for animation studios,

which allows me to combine professional rigour with artistic sensitivity.​

I mainly support brands and creators who wish to tell a compelling story and develop a unique visual identity.​
